Aleutian Island Waterfowlers has pioneered trophy Seaducks hunting in Alaska since 1985.  We are is proud to announce an exclusive Russia Trophy Duck & Goose hunting partnership in Kamchatka Russia with Links Wild Safaris. Our Russian Guides/Outfitters  have been operating exclusively in this the area for over 20 years successfully for big game and have an extensive infrastructure of cabins and lodges along the coast to access there exclusive guide area.

Our first first group of Trophy Russian Waterfowl hunters just got back in late may after completing a combination Brown Bear/ Russian Duck hunt with great Success. With pictures and stories to match an Russian adventure not available anywhere else in the world.  We will be offering two 7 day Russian Duck  hunts for upto 8 hunters per group duck hunting for  Bean Geese, Smews, Eurasian Wigeon, lesser Canadas, Baikal teal, Barrows Goldeneyeys, Mallards and Aleutian Geese along with  various other species of trophy Seaducks and puddle ducks utilizing, decoys, blinds and small boats with with dependable Yamaha outboards to get around in the tidal lagoons and coastal estuaries . Along with access to an Argo and snow machines from the main lodge.

Waterfowl Populations on The Eastern Russian coast of Kamchatka

Over 20 species of waterfowl live in this coastal area on the Russia Kamchatka Peninsula including many Eurasian vagrants including Puddleducks, Divers, Seaducks and Geese. This Russian duck hunt is as big of an adventure that you can ever do with the opportunities to harvest some of the rarest trophies known to the North American waterfowl world, including Eurasian Wigeon, Baikal Teal, Aleutian Teal, Arctic Smews, Taiga Bean Goose along with numerous other common species of Mallards, Canadas, Pintails, Goldeneys and some opportunity to harvest Seaducks including eiders, scoters and Longtails when water and weather conditions allow. The weather and Russia duck hunt season coincided with long days and fairly mild weather compared to fall or winter hunting most Americans are used too.

Getting Here:

Hunters will need to fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport from either Moscow  or Korea as there are numerous flights daily from the US, most hunters will stay over 1 day in Moscow or Korea on there way over or return depending on your final flights and occasionally will stay 1 night in Petropavlovsk before or at the end of there hunt.

Once in Petropavlovsk you will be met by an employee and taken care of and transportation will be arranged for the following day to the start of the hunt at our coastal lodge.

Daily Limits = 2 Geese + 10 Ducks in any combination of legal species

Pricing, Accommodations & Meals

1.   7 day standard Russian duck & Goose hunt package $7500 

Hunt 1 – Dates April 30-May 6—–Hunt 2-Dates  May 5-11 2020

2. 10 day Kamchatka Brown Bear add on/ $14,000pp

Not included:  in our Hunt Price : Rd trop airfare to Russia approximately $1600-$2500pp rd trip, Passport/visa fees and overnight and meals while traveling along with personal hunting gear, ammo and guide gratuities.

All our hunts include Fully Guided and Outfitted hunting, decoys , Coastal  lodging, 3 meals daily and standard beverages, boat & vehicle transportation to hunt areas daily from the main lodge and trophy processing, wrapping and salting along with rd trip transfers from Petro Airport  Full video of hunt and editing  a $3000 value alone.

This Hunt is not being sold as a Guaranteed  hunt by any means for any species, Just the Opportunity to have a chance at them. We harvested 10 species of the 13 we identified this season but every year can vary due to weather and spring migrations along with access to different areas by  snow and open water. This year there were great numbers of Eurasian Wigeon, Teal, and Bean Geese, Decent numbers of Smews, Pintails, Mallards, Goldeneye, Harlequin, and other Seaducks along with Misc subspecies of Canada Geese and other Eurasian Vagrants of Geese. Along  with a couple Falcated ducks and Baikal teal seen  but not harvested.  This hunt is a True Expedition to the unknown and the only guarantee is an Adventure of a lifetime with yours truly the original Fun Guide Capt Charlie If you can’t accept that some things are out of our control in Russia and not perfect than stay home and save us all the aggravation.
