Alaska Airlines Travel to Aleutian Islands
How to get to Cold Bay, Adak or ST Paul Island in the Aleutian Islands
Traveling to the Aleutian Islands for a vacation is fairly simple these days as Alaska Airlines has bi weekly flights on Sat and Wednesday departing Anchorage Alaska with its first stop in Cold Bay and continuing on to Adak aboard a 737 jet. Alaska Air miles can be used or purchase tickets directly with them. Most fisherman or hunters will have stay over 1 day in Anchorage on their way over or return depending on your final flights. We operate all Cold Bay & Adak trips Sat-Sat unless other arrangements are made. The average cost for for rd trip flights are $900-1100pp if not using Air miles.
How to get to Island X for your King Eider Hunt :
Our Island X/St Paul Island King Eider hunters will fly to Anchorage and stay over at the Millennium Lake Front hotel. We arrange for a private charter for all our guests. Our shuttle generally leaves around noon from the Millennium hotel lobby and drops you off at the lower level of the International Airport to reach our private gate, as you don’t go through TSA you go directly to our gate. As of 2019 we were the only Outfitter on the Island that operates our own Charter as there is no other consistent air service to the island as of today due to the recent Bankruptcy of Raven and Penn Air airlines .
Cost of the Rd trip Charter : Approximately $1380 pp due in full by Dec 1st to our office via check ,no CC accepted for charter flight payment
